I was first introduced to homeopathy in 1983 by a friend, whilst I was training to be a nurse in Scotland. I frequently turned to homeopathy to treat ailments for friends and family and became fascinated with this holistic approach to health and impressed with the results I experienced. Since then, my interest in holistic health care and passion for homeopathy has been an integral part of my life.
I studied with The College of Practical Homeopathy for 4 years, graduating in 2002 and frequently update my learning with further training in homeopathy and holistic health approaches. I am registered with the ‘Alliance of Registered Homeopaths’; a professional body that binds its members by a professional code of ethics and practice.
Homeopathy has much to offer those with a cancer diagnosis – from medicines that support you in dealing with the emotional aspects to reducing side effects of conventional treatment. If you like to see the science behind your treatment, the Homeopathy Research Institute supports high quality research and provides current information.
In 2003 I trained with Cruse Bereavement Care on their Bereavement Counselling Course and worked as a volunteer with them. My other interests include Nonviolent Communication (Marshall Rosenberg) which I have been involved with since 2006. I find this approach useful in both my work as a homeopath and in my personal life.
My clinics are in Bangor, Llandudno and Moffat in Scotland. If you are unable to attend a clinic, I also offer consultations on the phone or via skype. Depending on location and timing, I may also be able to visit you at home.
I offer you high quality healthcare in a friendly, relaxed environment and welcome the opportunity to help you discover a more complete way to better health. Please feel free to contact me to discuss how homeopathy could help you and ask me for my article “Homeopathy for the Cancer Journey”.
