Usui Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher

Angelic Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher

I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2011 which was successfully treated. I had previously experienced the benefits of Reiki and found it invaluable not only during my own experience of cancer but also that of my husband who had his own cancer diagnosis a year earlier.

I wanted others to experience the benefits of Reiki and went onto complete courses in Usui Reiki Levels 1, 2, Master Practitioner and Teacher. This led to training and completing Angelic Reiki 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Degree, Professional Practitioner and Teacher.

My Reiki sessions include a guided meditation or visualisation which enable you to go on a journey to a safe place, time, memory which you may wish to revisit while the Reiki therapy is carried out.

I am a member of the Reiki Association, Reiki Healing Association, The Healer Foundation and Licenced by the British Complementary Medicine Association.

Alongside my private clinic I also provide Reiki as a Community Practitioner to those under the care of Hospice at Home.

Treatments are available at the Natural Therapy Centre in Porthmadog.

What is Reiki?

‘Rei-ki’ is a Japanese word which translates into ‘Universal – Life energy’

A Reiki treatment is very simple. You, the recipient remain fully clothed. Loose, comfortable clothing is best and you would usually lay on a treatment couch. However, you can receive healing in a seated position if you prefer or if a disability prevents you from lying down.

I gently position my hands in non intrusive positions on or near areas of your body. There is no massage or manipulation involved. I treat the whole person rather than specific areas. Reiki is a non intrusive treatment with no known contra indications.
