What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a technique of applying gentle pressure to reflex areas or points on the feet or hands. It is a non-intrusive complementary health therapy. It is based on the theory that different points on the feet, lower leg and hands are directly linked to specific body systems and organs. It can bring about a state of deep relaxation and stimulate the bodies own healing processes. It can also help boost the immune system to create a stronger body and calmer mind. Reflexologists work holistically with their clients and aim to work alongside healthcare professionals to achieve better health for their clients.
